El Talisman is our family’s thirty-five acre coffee farm, located in the lush mountains of Matagalpa, Nicaragua. Our parents are dedicated to producing the highest quality natural and honey natural beans. Our coffee is all shade grown, hand picked, naturally processed, and slow dried. You can trust that our coffee is grown responsibly in a sustainable ecosystem, shaded by native trees.

Life on the farm is peaceful and leisurely. If you take a few minutes to look up at the trees, you may be surprised to find a friendly sloth sleeping the day away. This is what inspired us to adopt the sloth as our official mascot, branded on our 12oz. bags and merchandise.

After each annual coffee harvest, the dried green beans are shipped to the ATX where Fernando eagerly awaits to roast the new batch and build a delicious and complex profile. Because our coffee is roasted locally, you can always count on us to have fresh coffee at the ready for you to enjoy. We hope you can taste the love in your morning cup.
